Accounting
Mr E. Hoosain
Accounting was introduced in 2005. The first group started in Grade 11 mid-year and opted for Accounting as a seventh subject on the higher grade. This group did not have any instruction in grade 10 and also missed out half a year in grade 11. With time constraints of only 9 months to complete the curriculum, after school tuition resulted in great success. Learners achieved "A" symbols on the higher grade.
The NCS curriculum is followed in grades 10 to 12. The academic programme is supplemented by giving learners opportunities to get involved in as many projects as possible (see projects).
