2005 – Best research presentation in Western Cape, also best research presentation in national competition
2006 – Best coach/mentor award
Best robot design award
Young Scientist Expo
2007 – one silver and two bronze awards
2008 – 3 bronze awards, and one of the projects received the Royal Chemistry award for best chemistry project
SAICE Bridge Building competition
Learners were placed 3rd provincially
SAICE Water networking competition
2007 – learners placed 2nd provincially
2008 - Learners were placed 2nd provincially and 3rd at the national competition in Gauteng
2007 Astronomy
Dineo Grove went to Quantum Physics conference in Bavaria in Germany
National Science week at MTN Centre
2007 & 2008 had a stand at the MTN Science centre. Learners involved in opening ceremony as well as did presentations to other learners and schools at EMDC East
DME (Department of Mining and Engineering) conference
5 learners were part of the delegation from the Western Cape that went to Kimberly. Three learners went to were successful in the competition and went on to represent the province nationally.
